Default Ordered Tires

I placed an order with Tire Rack for a set of the PS2's. Not only did the entire process take less than 5 minutes, Luke had the "ship to" address in the computer (I never ordered tires from them), gave me the same low delivery cost even though the tires are being sent from a warehouse further away than the closest location to me, and, Luke was nice to talk to considering that I only saw his name on these messagew boards. Best of all, Luke did not act like he was doing me a favor & I appreciated that. Thanks Luke, & thanks for the info about the tires that you posted earlier in the month.

I'll have them mounted & running in abut a month. I still have some "cord" left on the GY SC's. I'll let you know, especially how they do in the rain.

I found Tire Rack great to do business with. However, my nightmare started when I tried to get them mounted and balanced. That ended up costing almost $200 and untold trips to different shops.

Good luck

I used the recommended installer program, had the tires shipped to the "recommended installer, then was told that they couldn't do Vette tires. What a joke!

I had mine shipped straight to the Chevy dealer. They have the latest equipment and there will be no $8/hour tire tech working on my wheels. Tire Rack must ship a fair amount of tires to this dealer...they had the address in their computer based on the zip that I gave Luke. Before placing my order, I checked with the dealer about having tires dropped shipped and installed...they told me they would be delighted-they do it all the time. I saved enough money to get a six pack............a six pack of Chivas.
