Default Goodyear ZR50 Gatorbacks

Hi,

I own a Porsche Speedster replica with Goodyear ZR50 Gatorback tires mounted on Progressive Custom 16x8 wheels with 5x4.5 lug pattern.

These tires and wheels were purchased in December, 1991 and kept in storage until the car was finally finished in 2003. Since then, it has been taken to car shows and driven on nice evenings around town. The tires have about 1,775 miles on them now and still show the nibs. The exact sizes are 225 ZR50 16 in front and 255 ZR50 16 on the rear. Being a show car, the tires and wheels are spotless.

I am interested in selling these tires and wheels because they are simply too large for my little Speedster, resulting in the steering being too heavy. My Speedster weighs only 1,600 pounds, so very little tread is gone.

Since I am new to this site, where would be the best place to advertise these for sale as a complete set? Here or under the C4 Classifieds? Obviously, these tires would be great for someone who needs a set for serious NCRS judging. What is their present worth, assuming that there is any interest?

Thanks,
Chuck
