Default fuzion tires report

just wanted to post my review of the Fuzion tires I installed on my '96 vert...

After putting a 3 inch hole in my original right rear GY last fall, I was faced with the dilema of what to do. Since the original rubber, while having plenty of tread left, was pretty old I decided it was time to replace all the rubber. After searching available sizes for the stock rims (8.5 front + 9.5) rear, I decided to go with a set of aftermarket A mold rims (9.5 all around in black). This expanded the number of available tires I could choose from, while reducing the amount of available money for the tire purchase . After much contemplation, I decided to give the Fuzion tires (275/40x17) a chance. The total cost of tires, balanced + installed on rims, with the Road Hazzard Warranty and tax, came to about $500 at the local Firestone (Bridgestone) store. Hint, when pressed these guys will sell you 3 tires and throw in the 4th for free on some if not all their tires.

After a couple of thousand miles I can say that I am pretty satisfied with the tires.

1) Handling + response is very good
2) traction is good, loss of tration is gradual and easily controlled
3) road noise seems less than the original tires
4) tread wear seems negligible (after a couple of thousand miles)

I don't race but do drive spirited on the street. Hope this helps.

Also tire rack has included them in a comparison test where they perform pretty decently.
