Default michelin runflats vs less clearance?

i read a post that mentioned you lose 1 inch of clearance w/michelin vs GY. True? Anyone have negitive feedback? Thanks! Rookie vette owner not sure as to scrapping Goodyear.

I have Michelin pilot sport a/s zp tires on my vette and have no problems at all. These tires are excellent!.
