Default Would you trust Mr. Tire to put your car on the lift?

Just bought tires from the Tire Rack and they have arrived at the local Mr. Tire store. (one day service from the Tire rack and they had them in stock) It's a pain in the butt to jack up my 93 and set it on jack stands to remove the tires. I don't know if I should trust the techs at Mr. Tire to put the car on their lift or if I should spend the hour it would take me to remove the tires and just take them the wheels. The woman who called from Mr. Tire claimed to be the official tire changer for the local Porche club and she couldn't wait to see my Vette so she could "pet" it. She claimed she would treat my car with TLC. The guy at Tire Rack said he would not let anyone other then himself drive his car into a service bay for wheel work. What would you do?

I dropped my wheels and tires off at a Mr. Tire yesterday and will go to pick them up today. It took 2 trips to take them there and may take more to bring them back. I have had bad experiences letting other people touch my car

Mr. Tire tore out a low-tire-pressure-warning sensor from my C4 and then denied doing it, saying it was missing when the car came in.

I spent a lot of time on a BBB claim. All to no avail. Mr. Tire simply denied any responsibility.

Mr. Tire remains the only automotive vendor that ever screwed me. I don't go there any more.

I don't use Mr. Tire, but I do take my wheels off and bring them in when I need tires mounted. Just one less time I have to trust my Vette to someone else.

I ended up using Mr. Tire. There was snow on the ground and I couldn't get to my ramps in the shed, plus I ran out of time. I tried to jack the car up and set it on jack stands. Got the front up but then there was room to get the jack under the rear. I removed the plastic lugnut covers, wheel locks, and chrome valve cover caps before taking it in. They used the alignment rack so they wouldn't have to drive over the lift. I can't see that they did anything wrong. They must have worked on a vette before because the tech opened the doors, rear hatch and popped the hood before putting it on the lift.
