C5 Rims On C4?

Sorry guys im sure this topic/question has been beat to death, but I gotta ask it anyway. Will the STOCK 18" X 9.5 Rears and 17" X 9.5 (or whatever width they are) fronts fit on my 86'? I presume C5 rims are 56mm offset? My 86' has 1" spacers on it right now. I would like to purchase a set of chrome C5's for my vette but all the same size (17's or 18's) all the way around. But need your help on whether they will fit and not stick out from my fenders nor rub the inners.

The fronts are actually 17x8.5" with a 56 (or 54mm) offset. The rear 18x9.5" are a 65mm offset. With 1" adapters the 18x9.5" should be a great fit all around.

I used 1 1/4" adaptors front and back; wheels sit just about flush with the fenders with no rubbing...
