AFS 84-7 Corvette ZR-1 Polished 17x11 Wheels Tires???

What are the feelings on this 17x9.5 & 11 wheel/tire package from AFS??? I'm thinking about this package for my 85.

I'm also thinking about those, but would like to see some pic's as to how far they stick out past the fender well.

AFS sells a specific ZR-1 style wheel with a special offset for 84-87 cars. They will sit in the wheelwell just like the original 16" wheels will. AFS wheels are very good quality and very popular among CF members.

Don't know a lot about the Sumitomo tires, but they are one of only a few makers that still carry a 315/35ZR-17 tire.

Looks like somebody did the "buy-it-now" deal but AFS usually has these on eBay from time to time.

AFS also has "blemished" wheel they sell on eBay or you can get them directly from them. I bought a set of black GS-style wheels for my 87 and it was very difficult to find the blemish!! Paid $800 delivered to me (AFS includes shipping on the blem wheels) You might want to call or e-mail them to see what sort of tire & wheel deal they can make for you.

I did it! I just put them on the car today and I couldn't be happier

For such huge tires, they tuck in real nice.

When I first saw your car I thought- why is this guy posting a picture of a Pontiac Trans Am on the Corvette Forum? Then one of the last pictures, I saw the rear end lights. Sorry. Enjoy your tires.

They do look great. I have been thinking of the 11 rears for awhile, I just have 17x9.5 all around.
