Default Y2K's on C4 ... Tire Size Luke/Anyone?

I bought a set of GM Y2K's for my stock 96 CE and need new tires for them. I would rather not have to recalibrate the speedo, so I would like to know what profile 18's" would be closest to my stock 17's"? I'd also like to know what are the widest tires that can be mounted to these wheels, and yet perform well on my C4?
Thanks for your suggestions,
Richard

Your fronts are 17x8.5 so go with 255/45/17s (same as you have now). On the back 18x9.5 go with 285/35/18. You wont have to recalibrate your speedometer since the new diameter will be almost identical to your current 285/40/17. Good luck and post some pics over in C4 General Discussion.

Thanks Admiral! I'm guessing that will also keep the body rake very close to stock as well?

Yes, it will. I was originally going to go with those wheels, but then decided on the Z06s since I can run wider tires.
