Anyone vouch for Rick from RKT Performance? I have a ZR1 MH3 Tranny for sale and he contacted me regarding a trade a built T56 which I am in the market for. Any vouch for him? Rick can you chime in your shop account and confirm you were the real person I was speaking to over the phone?

Rick is hands down one of the best vendors on CF, and for a variety of reasons, not the least of which are his knowledge/experience, skill, honesty and integrity. That's a damned good combination that unfortunately, is not always easy to find nowadays. He's one of a very small handful of Corvette drivetrain gurus around this place, and has been for a number of years.
Twice, (including recently) I've traveled from out of state to have work done at his shop in Frederick and left smiling both times. You will have no worries doing business with him.

In the past I've even tried to encourage him to run for President, but he's MUCH too smart for that.

I have known and worked with Rick for over 10 years. He worked on my c5 when I had it and is the only one I trust to work on my current cts-v that runs 9's with the least amount of mods of anyone on the v forum. He also built my first cts-v which was the first and still the fastest cts-v with cam only and manifolds.

2 of my cars have been featured in national publications thanks to his meticulous attention to detail.

I honestly can't say enough good things. He's a great mechanic and a great friend.

Rick has done a transmission swap on my car, header instalkation , clutch along with a variety of other projects on my car. He us a good mechanic and business owner - good customer service.
