The answer is very simple, call Mike Furman @ Criswell. No BS, returns calls, is in the office early, full of information, and best of all a very nice guy

I have no knowledge of the OP's situation but I think the purpose of this forum is to share information between enthusiasts and not be cheerleaders. I see that distinction being blurred sometimes on this site. While vendor/dealer bashing is obviously wrong, we need to be able to be able to provide constructive feedback as well as provide useful information to each other without resorting to name calling when we disagree or have a different experience.

I have no axe to grind with Rick and appreciate his enthusiasm. Although not all of us have had experiences that led to a sale, most have had very positive experiences. It's clear that Rick is a nice guy and that some of these rare experiences are likely due to bad timing or Rick being overloaded with work. Anyone who works hard enough to enjoy a 60-100K car can empathize with this.

I have had a couple of emails to Rick go unanswered. That said, my overall experience buying my C6 from him was excellent and he's at the top of my list for when I order a 2015. He might be a little hard to get a hold of sometimes but I know he'll treat me right.

Easiest car I ever bought! Mike was always available to answer questions, even arranged shipping for me. RECOMMENDED!

Did you seriously "threaten" to post on the Forum to get Rick to call you back? If so, I'm not sure why anyone would enter into ANY kind of business transaction with you under those terms, regardless of what had previously transpired.

Good luck.........
I knew I was going to be in Columbus a month and a half ago. Sent him an email telling him I was going to be out there and wanted to stop in. Two weeks after I got home, I got an email from him wondering if I'd ever stopped in. Duh !!
Bought my last two from Tommy Jr. Going back there again.........
He answers emails and even gave me his personal cell number, when I bought my 2nd C6 from him.

Corvetteforum encourages the posting of feedback on transactions -- both with supporting dealers/vendors and with individual Forum sellers.

We even have rules/guidelines to instruct site users on how to post about any unresolved dispute they may have.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/foru...-disputes.html

The Forum's moderators and administrators are not in a position to determine whose version of the "facts" are the "true facts" in a transaction dispute. Instead, we allow each side to post their version of the truth and then let site users decide for themselves whose account is credible.

We know there are people out there who will try to "extort" considerations from sellers on the threat of posting "negative" feedback about them on the Internet. We frown on that practice and have banned users when we were able to determine that is what they were doing.

At the request of site users, we set up a Transactions Feedback section for the purpose of consolidating feedback -- good and bad -- in one section.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/tran...-feedback-153/

The request was made by users who said it was difficult to find feedback when it was scattered over multiple sections.
That made sense because if you are looking to purchase a product or service related to C7s, you might not look in the C6 or C5 sections for feedback on a product or a vendor.

With that treatise, I'm moving this thread to the Transactions Feedback section, where it will be available for review by those contemplating a future purchase.

Had a similar experience with Rick.
Have hunted SO HARD for what I wanted in a C7. The Z51 option was clearly the hangup.
Contacted a number or forum sponsors and most were great. When the price increase hit, Rick posted he would absorb the $2K base increase plus the Z51 increase, $1,200.
Immediately emailed him with my specs and to order it for me. No word back to followed up a few days later asking if my order had been placed...nothing heard back. Another email, maybe even two emails and finally heard back...."Working on it" was the response....nothing further heard.
Suspect he was overwhelmed with inquiries but maybe that is time for some help for him??? As my buddy Homer would say..."DOH"!
Searched the country via cargurus.com and found my ride. Purchased, picked up and love the C7.
Just want to emphasize here that of all the forum sponsors I found Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin the most frank and honest as to how long I would have to wait for what I wanted. So wanted to buy there but was able to get my desired ride 1.5-2 months earlier than if I had ordered from him. I will certainly look to him for my next ride...as well as Mike at Criswell and a few others.
Seriously, not trying to slam a forum sponsor but had to post my experience.

I know or client is nice guy and I know my F&I guy that did this deal covers everything in detail…I really think it was just a miscommunication, misunderstanding somewhere between the two of them and sorry to hear that…..nothing I did and sorry a call that cannot be answered in 30 seconds has to play out on the forum, totally uncalled for. My goal is truly to help all I can and I have more than many will ever know…

Very uncommon for these types of loans and on behalf of the F&I guy, I apologize for the confusion and appreciate the time given tonight on the phone, feel like the guy in the middle here, but owed our great fans and friends here on the forum a reply…..back to work for me now, and I will be speaking to my F&I guy to see what's up just to be sure of our goals and intentions

Thank-you
