Default HardBar USA Screwed me

FYI, Gary from Hard Bar should not be in business. I ordered A set of AP Racing rotors on 3-28-14 through his website. Before I ordered them I had talked directly to Gary and he said they where in stock. I called him that following Friday and he said his website was down. I told him I had a race the following weekend and he said he would get them out right away. He text me Sunday and said they where shipped. On Wednesday late afternoon after not receiving the rotors I shot him a text asking when they would be here, didn't hear from him. Finally he text me back and said he did not ship them yet. I Told him I had practice Friday and needed them ASAP. Friday came and gone, no rotors. I Text him again Friday late afternoon Told him I have a race on Sat. He asked me if he could send them directly to the track I told him no, send to my shop. Sat. morning came and gone, never got rotors. This guy totally stuck it in my ***. He screwed me before and I gave him the benefit of doubt. Never again!!!

If what you say is accurate then it also sounds like he is dishonest and willing to lie to your face to save his.

Bought time the save-a-wave got involved and shut it down to get resolved.

That is very unusual for Gary.

I am not sure what is up, but this is not at all characteristic of the Gary I have known and bought from for 10 years. I know you are frustrated and feel violated, but I recommend being careful with the rhetoric as that can become libelous or slanderous. You don't know what is going on so posting really negative speculation such as above rather than sticking to what you can prove is risky for you. I find it peculiar that Gary has remained so silent regarding the accusations in these postings. I assume that he is aware of them. Who has called him to alert him to these posts?

There is a problem with Gary and Hardbar USA. In Gary's thread that he posted about his web site getting hack, I posted about my caliper brackets that I ordered a year ago. Every time I have talked to Gary about them all I get is BS and lies. I know he has dealt with Oli and I asked Gary in a FaceBook message if he treated Oli the way he treated me. Apparently not....

I have bought quite a bit from him over the years. I hate to hear the company seems to be having issues. I have always been satisfied and have even got a few extras thrown in here and there with some orders.

Ive done business with Gary 2 times....The first time he really hooked me up trying to make the sale, but unfortunately it did not work out. The second dealing he boned me out of $8. After no response I let it go, but will take my business elsewhere.

Natha and I have dealt with Gary and Hardbar for a long time with our T1/T2 Corvette and have always gotten top shelf product, support and advice....to to the tune of long conference calls between the three of us about product use and setup. Nothing but good things to say from this camp.

After all the positive review I heard here, I was surprised to have issues when ordering my camber block kit a year or so ago. Had to get with him many times on the fitment of them and needing new block sizes. After bird ******* him for quite a while, I gave up and copied the block myself at varying sizes to get alignment right.

Wasn't too impressed....

I unfortunately just had to deal with a similar issue with Gary. His company provides the poorest customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. I finally had to open a dispute with my credit card company to resolve the issue. Gary is one of the most dishonest, misleading people, I know. I will never do business with him again and would recommend other do the same.

Sorry to here all of this, I've always (although it's been awhile) had good luck with Gary. I do see that his web site has disappeared though.

having your website and or ecommerce hacked can be a major pain in the ****. hopefully after things settle down he can reach out to folks and make amends. He's been here for awhile and seemed like a good vendor. Hope ya'll give him another chance once things smooth out.

I've done business with Gary over the years and have not to date, had a problem - so here's hoping he can come back online and resume trading ASAP!
Much talk just now of damage done online by the Gameover Zeus botnet malware - hopefully he's not been hacked by that!

Why would it take over six weeks to get a website back up after an attack? Or at least put up an "Under construction" page?
