Default Vetteshop's blackout kits don't fit

I ordered the 2012 grand sport 13 piece blackout kit, I received it yesterday and started to install noticed driving lights and front side markers didn't test fit right at all. I looked at package prior to install and it said does not fit gs or z06. So I called vetteshop and they said that they are all the same for all c6's. He was a smart a.. On the phone and told me it was a misprint and i was wrong and they all fit like that. But when i ordered them it said to clarify gs or standart c6.
So I looked online at all other vendors selling the blackouts and they have different part numbers for gs and standard c6. So I got screwed. Not cool.

Dispute with credit card co ASAP - one of the requirements under commercial law is the product is of a 'merchantable quality, and fit for its intended purpose'. Epic fail on both counts. Ensure you dispute in WRITING (email is fine) with the vendor FIRST.

Good luck..

I had no idea the side markers on GS were different than a standard c6. Did you ask them for an exchange?

They are NOT different. All C6 side markers are the same.

I used to have the covers, the side ones, never fit well, the rear are great, but the ones on the front sides will always show some orange. I ended up going the painted route on mine.
Take him up on his refund and just paint them for better coverage.

Sides and rear are same on all c6's the fogs are the same lights on all, but the opening in the bumper is larger on the wide bodies versus the regular bodied c6's
