Edelbrock LS3 wet sump catch can installation
A stock LS3 wet sump catch can would be done this way...
remove both ends of the PCV U hose that connects to the valley cover and to the throttle body,
after removing..
attach catch can..

a new procedure is required during or after installation of the Edelbrock E-Force SC.
note that during installation, the stock valley cover is removed, discarded and replaced with the one that came in the kit. the new valley cover has no PCV vent tube. during installation, the driver side valve cover vent cap is removed...
a new PCV hose is attached where the cap was removed and runs to the throttle body connection under the snout here..
the driver side PCV hose that comes in the kit looks like this,
the driver side PCV hose is the one you will connect to the catch can. the direction of flow is from valve cover toward the throttle body. a check value in the catch can is required or PCV check value if no valve is present.

this is the stock LS3 air flow. green is fresh air traveling from the intake tube to the passenger valve cover. the blue air is the dirty air traveling from the valley cover to the throttle body.
because the kit removes the valley exit for dirty air, that dirty air now comes from the driver valve cover. note this diagram isnt for a roots style sc but for all practical purposes, it is accurate.
