" Flip - Tie "
Here is a cold air induction you can do yourself with your stock parts. You will need a washable filter (K&N or Green) and some Tie Wraps.
Essentially it is the bottom and filter frame of the stock airbox flipped over, fitted into a hole cut into the radiator shroud. All held together tightly using Zip Ties and the stock clamps.

Okay, I don't no what a Honker is but I do understand the concept of getting cold air to the engine. I've seen similar setups and couldn't figure why people did them. I thought it was for looks. Does this also help with overheating issues?

Blackwing with Ice Box cover, this permits the air to be drawn from outside under the car. Drawing air from under the hood is'nt the same as outside cool air.. my .02

And I have another question, the hose that is connect here leads to some motor underneath the car, what and how does that work?
