I just moved here a few months ago and I have seen a few Vettes around town so I know you exist. I did a search for threads containing OKC and the most recent one was from 2002 Where are you guys? Where do you hang out? Where do you get your work done? I miss having a local shop to go to for anything and everything. Now I feel stranded here not knowing where the best place is to get stuff done to my baby. I'm also having withdrawl from being away from other corvette owners and parking lots full of Corvettes. Someone from OKC please help me

I dont live in OKC but I feel your pain! I'm about 60 miles from there in Sterling. There is (or was a while back anyway) a Corvette club there somewhere. I'd be kinda interested in the goings on there myself. Been thinking of getting my 01 tuned.

What a difference a tune makes too. Even on a stocker it makes the car rev as smooth as silk which makes it more enjoyable to drive around. I'm searching on line for Corvette clubs in OK in general and I can't find any. I will keep up the hunt!

also check out the central oklahoma corvette club---there also used to be an msn group called "elite speed of oklahoma" that would get together every friday or saturday night--last i knew they were meeting at the taco cabana on i-35 in norman

I'm in OKC, 01 heads/cam C5. I don't really know where all the vette people hang out, I just hang out with various car and bike people.

That's Frisky, Prater, RPO Z06, etc. We were hanging out at a Sonic on 39th for a while, but all the young import kids started showing up. I get bored just standing around, but there's some others that will hook up some late night get togethers on the north side.
