Default HOU - Pics from the COCH Fall Hooters Car Show

First of all I would like to thank all the members who worked so hard to put this event together. What a turn out!! and all for a couple of great charities. I enjoyed meeting many of the club members. Below are a few shots I snapped that illustrate the huge gathering of vettes at the show. Of course I would be re-miss if I did not get a shot of me with the Hooters girls[}]

Great turnout today. We had 60+ cars entered in the show. Thanks to everyone for coming out!

Thanks to everyone to showed up to make this show a huge success. We had representation from Sam Houston and San Jacinto Corvette Clubs. Our Charities the Houston Food Bank and Boy and Girls Country also thanks everyone.

I think a lot of people enjoyed the different fomat of having a evening show that only lasted 4 hours. This is something we might do again, but maybe on a Saturday evening, because having to go to work on Monday morning can make things difficult. Also we will be looking into changing the car class structure of the show. It is just so difficult to walk around and find all the cars in different classes. Next time we might just award the top 25 vehicles with the most votes and the Best of Show. Just some things we are considering to make the show easier and more enjoyable.

I had a fantastic time, took home 2 door prizes and a first place trophy Thanks to Calvin and Co. for making this a first class show/event. I don't think I've been to a parking lot show with such a big turn-out before....awesome job guys.

I do think that next time you guys should shoot for a Saturday show.......I only live about 5 miles away and I still got home fairly late. For people that have kids, live further away, etc. Sat would probably make for a better show day. Just a suggestion- and again, you guys put on a first class show.

Thanks for having us!

You COCH guys and girls put on a great show. I didn't have a car entered, but really enjoyed seeing all of the fantastic cars and visiting with a lot of people. And thanks for the raffle prize I won. Some nice stuff in that bag. Hope to see you all this Friday at Wings.

It was a great show even if I didn't place. But we needed more room. You should have seen the look on the girls face when Calvin had to move her Crossfire from amongst all the vettes with 2" inches to spare. Great preparation and execution by the COCH . Needed a bigger PA system because you could not hear it over the whole area. Loved the evening format. the cars looked great at night as the sun set. Look forward to the next one. Which club is next? Last weekend was SHCC and then COCH. Can SJCC top these. I want to see. These were my 1st shows. look forward to the next.
