Hey Karl,
Cary here with The Austin Stingray Sharks... I've never heard of any Corvette meetings on friday..We have been meeting on Thursdays but with the time change we will now go to Sat afternoon's.. Our next meet is at HOOTER's(183 & Lake Creek park) Oct. 23rd at 2:pm..Time is tenative hope to confirm the time today with them.. This will be our largest meet and we expect 20-30 cars.. We are planning all sorts of giveaways, pics with the HOOTER's girls ect.. I think we are going to start meeting every 2 weeks after that.. Next spring for sure if the attendance is there..
So tell all your freinds and associate's with 82's and older to come on out to the new HOOTER's Oct. 23rd..

sometimes there are guys at the "Y" in oakhill on fri nights but usually the best days for gtg's are sat. either at the "Y" or at the 1431 meet...some guys meet at van's on 183, but thats more for stang's and ricers....

I'd be up for trying to start a Vette Night in Austin TX on Fridays... any one else interested? we could try once a month for a start. maybe at Jack's BackYard???

Saturday night is the best time at the Y. The reason you don't see many vettes is usually due to the weather. There are usually a 59, 60,
64,65,66, 67 and later vettes there. I am going this Saturday night in my 66 and I know there will be a 65 and a few others. In the summer they normally gather about 7:00. With the sun going down earlier they start about 6:00.
