[Arizona] BBQ Cruise to Camp Verde - May 8th.
Hey all,
We are going to try and beat the heat and start heading north. Everyone liked the BBQ cruise to Gila Bend so much, that we will be doing the same thing, just heading in the other direction.
Keith and Kelly Ayotte are hosting a BBQ at their place in Camp Verde. We will be leaving the valley from the Texaco at Country Club and McKellips in Mesa at 9 a.m. From there we will cruise up to Payson, over to Strawberry and then over to the Verde Valley. Once there we will have a BBQ lunch and sit back and relax and enjoy the cooler weather and different scenery.
The Ayotte's are supplying all the food and refreshment. There will be a modest fee that we can pay for this when we get there ($5 ish).
Let's plan a nice big turn out for this great cruise and lunch. Please RSVP by posting here or sending an e-mail to Keith and Kelly at knkayotte@commspeed.net .
This should be a great cruise on some nice roads with fantastic scenery. Hope to see you all there.

I'm interested, so write me down.
Since it's a pot luck perhaps we should do like we did for Hott's New Years party and have what we plan on bringing posted on the Web site so we don't end up with nine huge bowls of potato salad, a bag of rolls, and nothing else.

I'll be there as long as Strawberry isn't on fire by then! The way the fire season is starting we may not be able to get out of Phx this summer.

Yeah, a post-tax season event :)
Count me in with the caveat that I will not be aiding any C3 owners on the drive up or down.

Sorry we will not be there. It is the same time as our 17th wedding anniversary and we have plans already.
Have fun all. :seeya

By the end of the weekend, I will have a web page with a list of what is needed, and then I will update it with what each person is bringing.

Hiya Keith and Kelly, just wanted to RSVP for Mark and I. We will definitely be there. Mark is looking forward to meeting the both of you. (And everyone else for that matter.)
I will need directions though from Bryan on how to get to the gas station that he is talking about. Although, if we are taking 85 up, I was thinking, meeting at the Texaco just off of Shea on 85, before you get to Ft. McDowell Casino would probably be more convenient for anyone coming from the west side.
Just an idea. Either way, I will be there. I am putting it on my calendar (PDA) asap.
Can't wait.
Just got back from the Laughling Black Vette gathering from this weekend. Holy moly, wait til you all see some of these pics. Will post in another place soon.

If you wish to meet us further north, there is a Texaco at 17125 E Shea Blvd in Fountain Hills. You could wait for us there and we should be by there around 9:15 - 9:20. I would arrive no later than 9:00.
Do you have an FRS radio? We can give a call on the radio as we get near, and you could pull out and join with us. Or if you have a cell phone and will have it with you, I could call you. Let me know what you want to do.

It's really more convenient for me to meet on Shea too. You have my cellphone # and I'll have my FRS with me. After Gila Bend I have faith that Tanya and I can catch up! Anyone else want to meet on Shea? :seeya
