Default Battle of the Cities" Sunday April 25th in Abilene

So far we got Abilene, Midland, Odessa, Lubbock, Big Springs, San Angelo and Wichita Falls. Who else is going? DFW and Houston it would be cool if you guys could head out this way.

I think there is a car show for you non-racers but you should pm sandman he knows all about it.

It's all heads up racing.

OK, there will be 7 classes and a few rules.

1. all cars must be door slammers.
2. no tires wider than 10w or 12"
3. all racing is heads up, either pro-tree or instant green.
4. gates open at 9:00 am, time trials start at 10:00a.m., racing begins at 12:00p.m
5. all classes have one buy back.
6. entry fee for racers $25.00 , spectators $10, car show $25.00
7. unlimited class racers entry fee $50.00 ( $1000.00 first place prize, $500.00 for second place prize

classes go in this order: 10,9,8,7,6, and unlimited

each class will have a 1st and 2nd place trophy stating "winner of the ? second class BATTLE OF THE CITIES 2004." OR RUNNER UP.

the 1st and 2nd places of each classes will be on a points system. The city with the most total points will be declared the winner of the battle of the cities. This city will be the winner of the ultimate trophy to display for bragging rights to the rest of the cities who couldn't hang. This trophy will be passed around to each city who wins this event each year, so please be responsible. We need a really good turn out this year because we have alot of good vendors and sponsors from texas that are waiting to see how this turns out. Maybe next year we could see some big companies set up and display at the track. Like a mini FFW,SLP or something. Thank everyone for your support! I am working hard to make this a nice event.

Gates open @ 9am. Time trials start @ 10am and races begin @ 12pm Hope you can make it.

Mods could you sticky this one up for the world to see.
