[AZ] Firebird Street Drags Fri-3/19 Who's in?
Since I'll be having my TPIS LT Headers and RandomTech High-Flow Cats installed along with an LS1 edit dynotune this Thursday at Xtreme, I'm gonna hafta put those new toys to the test at Firebird. Their next Friday night open drag is not until the 19th, so I don't want to hear any of those "I didn't know about it" excuses. So who's in?
Spectators admission is $10.00 and children 12 & under are FREE.
To race your vehicle is an ADDITIONAL $7.00
Gates/tech inspection opens at 6pm. Racing usually starts around 7pm

Time to test out the X-pipe. If I can scrape up the dough I may even throw on a different carb as well. If all goes as planned I'm in.
We need to get Jay and his Bromley's Performance 79' 383 Stroker special down there to actually see if it lives up to the hype!
Now, I'll put it on the table AGAIN. Perhaps afterwards we can all head over to Hooters!? :confused: I shouldn't have to twist arms on this, GUYS!
Oh, and Dan, don't forget your new camera! (for Hooters!)

I don't know what time Hooters closes, but this is a late night deal.
The gates open at 6 pm, the first runs start at 7 pm and run till 11 or so!
If you get there early you will get a couple runs in before it gets gridlocked!
Hope my jack gets here by then so I can put the DR's on :D

Dan W. I got a 795 CFM Q-Jet you can try out. It was ran ok on my motor last time out when I ran 14.6.
My car is just finishing up on the dyno today (so they tell me, I am in Boston now) and should be ready to run on the 19th.

I'm not that quick. Hoping to run < 11.99 at least once, but I'll be happy with 12.2. Since I sold my drag radials I'm worried that I'll spin like crazy with 4.10's and Bridgestones.
I'll race anybody because I dont care about losing, racing against faster cars motivates me. :yesnod:

I have a stack of 12.5, N/A slips with a bum tranny, and that is on run craps. Now that my tranny is rebuilt and upgraded, with slicks I hope to get into the 11's all motor.

Isn't the saying "10 HP gets you a tenth and a MPH" ? So, 360 more hp should be good for 36 tenths, or 3.6 seconds. 14.5 - 3.6= 10.9 with perfect traction.
