Well, come snow or shine, several of us from the Permian Basin Corvette Club in the Midland/Odessa area are cruis'n to Fredericksburg in the morning (Fri, 2/13) for a Valentine's Weekend Hill Country Wine Tasting Tour! We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express and will dine Sat night at the Hill Top Cafe. There should be around 18 of us (9 Corvettes). Hope to see some Corvette friends along the way. If anyone wants to join up, call me on my cell.

Robert, I sure wish Mary and I could join you guys, it sounds like a fun weekend. Have a safe cruise!
I may be out and about on Sunday so if I see you guys, I'll join you if you don't mind. I can't make it on Saturday since I'm flying back from Germany and won't be there until early evening. Look for me though, 01 MY Z06 w/ black wheels.
What a great weekend! The weather cooperated afterall and the cruizn couldn't have been better. Thx to the Big Country and Brazos River Corvette Clubs members who joined up for the cruise at the last minute. In order of personal preference, the Becker Vineyard, Chisholm Trail Vineyard and Grape Creek Vineyard were my favorites. Of course, for the long neck variety, I preferred the classic Lone Star at Luckenbach Hall Sat afternoon. For dining, you have to try the Hill Top Cafe 10 miles north of Fredericksburg. The live music provided by the Cafe's owner and his Valentine's Night special menu was perfect. Sorry we didn't see you on Sunday Juan, but we were in San Antonio on the Riverwalk enjoying cold margaritas and fajitas!

Robert, the Hill Top Cafe sounds like just the kind of place I am looking for to make for our lunch stop during our Blue Thunder Bluebonnet cruise in April. We definitely will not be eating at that restaurant in Johnson City again....
Glad you guys had a great time, hope all the Corvettes ran just as great.
Roy, be sure to make reservations for the Hill Top Cafe (www.hilltopcafe.com), especially on a Saturday for a large group. Every Harley rider, Corvette driver and every tourist will try to eat there during the annual bluebonnet run. You guys have fun!
Robert
