Just got home to Queen Creek today after being out in Memphis for the last seven months.I need to get the car detailed and shined up.normally I'd do it my self but I just had back surgery and better not.
Do any of you guy's know of a good detail shop in the east valley that you would trust with a black car and how about window tinting?
I will be going to Extreme next week to see about some tuning issues I have.
I hope to meet some of you in the near future and maybe participate in some of the events you have here. :seeya
Re: (PHX) Finally got home today, need advice (another mitch)
Don't know about a detailer cuz I do my own and live up north. I will ask at work as most of my coworkers live in east valley. Hopefully it will be detailed and tuned for our Prescott run on the 27th.
Maybe we'll :seeya there!

For window tinting: Sun Devil Auto. They have shops all over the valley and have been around for a long time (a problem with most tint shops is they go out of business). They use Lumar metal film with a life time warranty.
The shop in Chandler, near my house, did my wife's car and my truck. They will do my C3 when I get around to it.
The only detail places I know are the Danny's Carousel car washes. I don't know if I would trust them beyond a wash and hand wax. Sometimes they don't put much effort in getting all the wax back off.

Mitch... I usually take mineto Family Carosel car wash on Chander blvd and 101. Talk to Noei, and tell him you are a friend on me (Glenn with the blue corvette). He will hook you up. Detail around 120.00 or so. Are you looking to keep your windows legal on the tint? If not then sun devil wont help you. I have the name of a kid that will come to you... and tint anything... Looks awesome... I have to find it, if you are interested.

Thank's for the help everyone,my poor car has basicly sat in storage for a year and a half and really needs some TLC.Glenn I will go talk to your friend at the car wash.Eddie I would like to go on the run with you guy's so hopefully Extreme can help me out with the tuning (It knocks like a cop at a crack house door) and thats with 100 octane.Unfortunatly I've got to finish the job MMS and his certified install shop couldn't do right the first time.
I'm on vacation for the next two months so I should be able to meet a few of you folk's. :chevy

Wax Werks Mobil detailing/ Ken Dickson 602-788-9680. He is a little more than some but you get what you pay for. I would not let dannys family touch a black car. Kens web sight is waxwerksdetailing.com check out some of his work. I believe he is the best in the business.

Nobody touches:
Car Cleaners Autodetail
328 N Gilbert Rd
Mesa, AZ

It's like they make a science out of auto detail. This is a high end PREMIUM place. They are not cheap, but reasonable for what they do. You MORE than get what you pay for. An interior detail alone takes them 6 to 7 hours. Their exterior paint cleaning and preservation methods are state of the art, and they have different levels of sealant protection available. It's not just some ransom dudes using inexpensive or average products to give your car the "once over" like at a local car wash. They even have this bay where after they really clean the exterior they put the car under special lights and there their technicians are able to go over the entire body inch by inch and locate and catalog all the paint flaws and blemishes and help you determine how best to deal with them if that's the route you choose. If you've got a black finish I'd be careful. If it were my car I'd go nowhere else with it. Take my advice and at least drop by and check out their facility. It's honestly going to blow you away and make other detail places look not so tempting.
