Vette shoot out at Hallsville...The White FRC running 10.40's & 10.50's.

Okay Guys. A few of you have asked about the White FRC that raced in Hallsville last Saturday (IL tags...CRLOS C5)! Well, it's my car..99 FRC with the RPM stage II LS1 heads/cam combo, 120 dry shot and stock bottom end...NO BIG BORE. That car has always been a freak, as many of you witnessed, it ran between 10.40's and 10.50's granny shifting (protecting parts) at MPH's no slower than 132.6 the fastest being 134.8. I am not writting this thread to brag!!! I am just amazed at times as to how far technology has come. Many of us drive our cars everyday and running some crazy numbers...wow. My personal goal is to run 10.10' to 10.20's with new ET's and 4.10's before replacing the bottom end if even necessary. :steering:

I had the pleasure of running against you in Hallsville ....You were halfway down the track as I,m still in first .....Ha ha ....That was my slowest run of the day as I think I was admiring your run...Very nice :cheers:

Thanks. I am from Crystal Lake which is pretty close. Relocated to the Dallas area with the job and now living in Allen Tx. Cost of living down here is off the hook!!!
From watching some of the videos, your car also runs pretty strong. I tell ya, there were some strong N/A running cars there. Back in Chicago with that good cool air, all of our cars will run crazy numbers...Texas heat is no joke. :auto:

As Carlos said, it's amazing how far technology has come to give us the HP numbers we are getting today.

However, Tim, look at how fast your 12 year old stock car runs! Keeps up with the new stock C5's and can beat them at times!

I thinks that's also amazing!
