1st Annual Austin Area Corvette Enthusiast HOOters POKER RUN January 10?

Well, it looks like a good date for the local Hooters to participate in Austin Area Corvette Enthusiast HOOters Poker Run is January 10, 2004. Just want to get a rough count on how many Corvette Enthusiast would be interested in attending. We will have discounted rate's set up at a local Hotel for out of town Guests.

i'd be interested if i don't have to work that day....i tend to work saturdays...

did ya'll know the hooters at northcross mall closed? and what's even more f**ked up is they didnt tell any of the waitresses they were closing till the day before....not alot of time to land another job....i got this info from one of the waitresses at the round rock hooters....

I had heard they closed it and the strange thing is that one of the managers that was a manager at Bone Daddy's was told when they hired her that she would train at the riverside location then work at Northcross till they closed it and then would take over the new one on North Research once they opened it. They hired her about two months ago. O well.

January 10th works great for me, too :D . Glad its not that Sunday, the 11th, because I'm call that day. Keep us posted on entry fees and other specifics.

I never really liked the Northcross Hooters compared to the Riverside & RR sites. Did someone mention another Hooters is opening up on 183? BTW, I've only been to Bone Daddy's once, however from what I saw have'nt wanted to go back, either.

funny you should mention bone daddy's cary, my buddy greg and i went there the other day on lunch and our waitress was 6'1 on flats! no heels, she was 6'1....sorry but that is freakishly tall in my book.

the food has never been great there either....i'd take hooters over bone daddy's anyday.....or d & b over both... :thumbs:

Hey all. Evil, I knew the manangers at the Northcross location and they had been telling me the last 6 months they knew it was going to close, just didn't know when. So I think they knew about it, but it still kinda sucks that you don't get any advance warning, just bam ok we are closed.

Anyway, might be able to make it, never been involved with a poker run. Should be fun. Later. Gabe :cheers:

Looks like the Poker Run is going to be delayed for a little while. The Hooters manager is supposed to come to the Jan. 9 D&B Happy Hour to work on the details with us. I would be nice to have a good turn out for our first Poker Run. I will post an update as soon as more information is available.

Anyway, about the Poker Run delay :hurray: I was not going to be able to make it due to Army Reserve obligation on January 10th & 11th. Hopefully, the reschedule date will not be on one of my Reserve Drill weekends :yesnod:

I'll try to make it to D&Bs on the 9th but it could be after 7:30PM before I show up :rolleyes:
