:seeya Hey Eddie. Great idea! This time the plan will be for me to ride left seat the whole trip in my Vette rather than warming the right in yours. Also, a friend of mine just purchased an all black 01 vert, so I'm hoping he will be available to come along. You two can compare notes on life with black paint. See you then!

Re: [PHX] 12-27 Prescott Cruise (eddie44)
I will really really really really try to make this.
The replacement for my broken TV cable just showed up today (As I sit in Las Vegas for work). I hope to get the car back to at least 95% by the end of this weekend. I still have the trans to put back together, wrap the exhaust, run and test the engine / fuel injection, put the interior back in, and then some test and tune.

Is it time for another Corvette Saturday?? :hurray:

Re: [PHX] 12-27 Prescott Cruise (PonyH8R)
yeah, Corvette Saturday at my place this Saturday. Plan for a 9 a.m. start time. I have plenty of work for a few extra hands. I hope to get the car started (first time since June) and even get it off the ramps.
I plan on a full day of work, and will have lunch available for those that want to help out.
If you have questions, or need directions, drop me an e-mail or call me at 480-220-2484.

Cool.... I kinda drive a "BUS" thru Vegas a few times a week... Maybe we'll hook up there next time for a little gambling.

Re: [PHX] 12-27 Prescott Cruise (eddie44)
Why don't we set up an alternate destination? Say if it rains / snows or looks very probable to do so, we head south instead ? Unless it's raining all over AZ, then we could just sit in a garage, tell racing stories and drink beer.
Seriously, maybe a southern destination such as trip to Florence, down to Oracle, over to Dudleyville, and back up to Superior ? Or some other southern / dry location. Also, Payson or Globe may be un-affected by weather.
I've always wanted to see the OK Corale in Tombstone...or is that asking too much for a day trip? Or maybe just add that one as a post tax season run when I get my life back.

The O.K. Coral in Tombstone is all walled in, and you have to pay a ridiculous amount to see it and some re-enactment that lasts 30 seconds. As much as I LOVE history, Tombstone was a disappointment to me. It's more like a tourist trap now -- In my opinion.

For a day trip, it can be done in a full day.
:iagree: Tombstone was a waste of gas! I'm open for anything. I'm holding out hope that in a week the weather forecast will change.
I heard that on the weather tonight. My fear is that if it rains here, it snows in Prescott. What's the concensus??
If it rains I'm out. No windshield wiper motor. Plus, all weekend I was chasing three new phantoms I can hear under the car, but have yet to pinpoint. Lets just say they don't sound healthy. With X-mas this week I may not be able to get my mechanic to find and fix in time. So, as badly as I want to do this, I may be out regardless.
Guess we will all see...
