[Phx] Anyone else off 12-20 thru 1-5 & up for a midweek cruise?

I've talked to at least one other Phx area Forum member whose off from 12-20 thru 1-5. I was considering a midweek cruise to Prescott for lunch and then maybe back down Yarnell Hill to Wickenberg and back to Phx. Yarnell is supposed to be great coming down. Any other takers?

Okay! We've settled on Sat. 12-27. Looking for lunch suggestions in Prescott.

I said midweek, but looking at the calendar maybe Sat 12-27 would work best. Not alot of xmas travelers on the road and a couple days after xmas. I can't go the 29th or 30th and nobody will want to do it on New Years eve. How about Sat 12-27 everybody?

I just checked with the boss - we have an out of town guest over the weekend, but she thinks the guest will be busy with other friends in town on Saturday. Sounds good to me, and after 12 years of living here, I'll finally see Wickenburg and Prescott! (my wife knows both well - part of her route!) :cool:

I say the 27th. It is after xmas, but probably before the peak traffic coming home from xmas trips. More people available on a Sat. I'll come up with the a map, etc in the next few days. Anybody know a good place for lunch in Prescott? Looking forward to seeing you there!

It's posted on the ACE calendar as 12/27 now. I will (try) attend. My car is coming along, just waiting on some parts. Should hope to finish the "major" stuff next weekend and get it fired up and running (at the least) the 13th or 14th. That might make for a good "shake down" cruise for me.

Here's the route we'll take.

Just over 200 miles and 4hrs 30mins travel time. I figure depart 10am and arrive back in Phx approx 6pm (with lunch, gas and potty stops).

I'm in. :thumbs: I plan on taking my Vette to Prescott on X-mas, so why not again two days later. My cousin lives there. I will ask her where some good places are to eat are. There's a real good Mexican restaurant there if anyone's up for that. I will call and get the name plus some other suggestions tonight. Also, I know three other C5 owners who are not ACE members who were talking about taking a Payson for lunch cruise. I will pass on this Prescott idea to see if they can come instead of Payson. And, anyone consider contacting the Prescott Vette Sette club to see if they want to join us for lunch?
