I feel for you brother. Today I washed my car in shorts and a t-shirt, about 80 degrees outside. Used to live in Maryland so I know what I'm (not) missing.

To someone who has never seen snow that is a pretty picture. Living in
deep south Texas, sometime they bring in fake/real snow for the kids to
see.

Oh....you'll love Phoenix. Granted the winters are usually pretty mild, but on the other hand there are the lovely summers when it is literally hot enough to cook an egg on the sidewalk.

Texas seems to be working out just fine for me. No snow and though humid, summer really didn't seem that bad!! :yesnod:

Your thermometer says 30 degrees! Is that right. Believe it or not, it is warmer up here! We'll be there on Wednesday and need it warmer than that. Turn up the heat. See you NYE!

That is our LOW, not our HIGH. It's cooler in Chandler than most other areas. We are still semi-rural around the airport where they take that temp, so it's usually 4-5 degrees cooler at a night there.
I think the record low for Phoenix is a blustery 22 degrees.

Today: Sunny. High 54F. Winds light and variable.
Tonight: Fair to partly cloudy. Low near 30F. Winds light and variable.
Tomorrow: Sunshine along with some passing clouds. High 59F. Winds light and variable.
Tomorrow night: Partly cloudy skies during the evening will give way to cloudy skies overnight. Low around 40F. Winds light and variable.
Tuesday: Overcast. Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the low 40s.
Wednesday: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid 60s and lows in the mid 40s.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 60s and lows in the low 40s.

Now compare that to the bad weather where you live:

Today: Sunshine along with a few clouds. Temps nearly steady in the mid to upper 30s. Winds SW at 15 to 25 mph.
Tonight: Cloudy. Low 21F. Winds WSW at 10 to 20 mph.
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers mainly during the morning. High 27F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 30%.
Tomorrow night: Considerable cloudiness. Low 16F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 20s and lows in the upper teens.
Wednesday: A few snow showers. Highs in the upper 20s and lows in the mid teens.
Thursday: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the low 30s and lows in the low 20s.

You will see our winds never get high enough to have speed reading -- 25 MPH  . Never is the words "teens", "twenties" or "snow" is used in our forecast. So, say all you want. I will take a LOW of 30 over a HIGH of 30 ANYDAY.

See you Wed. night!
