Re: Houston - Anyone for HRP 12/7??????? (Coyote-Z)
I'll be there looking for a new best N/A with this weather. Then I think I'll try and spray a 12.1x. This will probably be the last time out before the converter and DR's go on, my last chance to better the "stock" numbers.
Re: Houston - Anyone for HRP 12/7??????? (MC TORCH RED)
Hey guys, I'm new to the Corvette scene, and I just got a Vert A4 C5. I wanted to run it stock and see what types of times it will get. I'd like to meet some of you guys as well. What time are you guys gonna be there? Is this the Houston Raceway Park in Baytown?
I've been there a couple of years before and ran my 328i. I stay near the Compaq center, so if possible maybe I can meet up with someone and drive up there.

Hi SJ, yes we are talking about HRP, Baytown. I roll out of the north side and will be at HRP by 5 pm with a friend in a red 96 TA. If you come out feel free to look me up. A note about Vert's, NHRA rules and Verts that run better than 13.99 don't mix well. Do you have a hard top to bolt on that C5? Sucks for the guys with Vert's but wanted to give you a heads up, if you run that fast (and you will easily) they (tech) might make you stop racing... it's a roll bar thing.
Re: Houston - Anyone for HRP 12/7??????? (SJTrance)
They will let you go at least once, sometimes they even "overlook" things. The enforcement of safety rules based on ET's seems to be flexible at HRP, I have no idea why. It's worth a try, come on out!
Well, you can expect to meet me there. I can't wait! Now, I'm just gonna cross my fingers and hope that something nothing comes up and ruins my one day off.
