[TEXAS] Where/when are the major car shows?

Hi, I'm thinking about doing some exterior mods and then entering my Vette in some of the bigger car shows. Can you list the major ones in Texas and surrounding states for the rest of this year and next year? Thanks for the help! :thumbs: :cheers:

June 21 in Houston at Snowman's is going to be a pretty big impromptu car show and party.

The 2 biggest car shows that I enter are Autorama, usually over Thanksgiving weekend and the Corvette and Chevy expo in February. There are dozens of other smaller shows. Contact the local car clubs for a schedule of their shows.

There's the Chuck's Cruise Ins held each Saturday night at one of the Chuck's restaurants. Check with the Xtreme Corvette Club for details (or VICIOUS here on the forum).

The Dallas Autorama is held on Valentine's weekend which is also the Daytona 500 weekend. Can someone please explain to me how the hell that happened? Talk about a major conflict of interest. :crazy:

If you want to come out to Rowlett there is an informal cruise every Thursday night. Not a show, just cars of every type hanging out having a good time. You can contact me for details. You're sure to find out about other shows then.

We also have a group that meets every Tuesday night in Rockwall for dinner.
