Default (Houston) 6/7/03 Carshow and a Movie (2F2F)

I'm not going but I thought some of you might be interested.

Date: Sat. 6/7/03
Time: 4pm
Where: Tinseltown 290, 12920 Northwest Fwy (near Pinemont)

Directions: 290 West towards Austin, Exit Bingle Rd/W 43rd Street
Theater is on the feeder about 1 mile down

Please be at the theater by 4pm if you plan on showing the car. This car show is a promotional event for the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. Anyone that participates in the car show will receive discounted tickets to go see the movie. We will need you to stay until close if possible. If you don't think that you will be able to stay that long, please find someone that can take your spot. Hope to see you out there!

I went to see the movie lastnight with my girlfiend. All of the other theaters were sold-out so we ended up going to TinselTown on Beltway-8 & West Park. OMG, that is the worst theater I have been to in the last 5 years. SERIOUSLY. I felt like we were in some type of third-world county cinema. It was smelly, a bunch of babies were crying in the middle of movie and people were just carry on their foreign conversation like nothing else going on. :nono: :nono: :nono: :U

The movie was alright. People just need realize it is just a freaking movie, so take it for what it is. You will need to loosen up a little in order to enjoy it. I really like the American muscle car scene. ( I think my "off-road" Vette does idle louder them though. :p: )

We went straight home right after movie and saw cops pulled over some "F & F" wanna be's. Go figure.

Any plan meeting up for tonight? Have a great weekend guys.
