Melting Slicks
I was there last month, and the sons have been selling everything off. But Chris didn't mention closing anytime soon, I'd be curious because I'm due for a oil change and front brake sensor replacement. Thanks for the heads up, L8R ZFLASH

I got ahold of Chris today, he confirmed that it's closed down. I guess I have to find another shop, L8R ZFLASH

As you probably know Frank passed away not too long ago so not surprised they are closing. I had some service work done there on my C7 but Corvette World is my go to place for service. Never had an issue and in and out quickly especially with an appointment.

I don't know if new management/owners were in over their heads, ran it into the ground due to poor decisions, or elected to close the doors, but this definitely sucks. Frank's was a Corvette staple in the Houston area.
For those maybe looking for a replacement, I used CorvetteEverything recently and have been happy with them. They are out in PineHurst.

Corvettes were Frank's passion but not his sons. Too bad but not surprising. Guess it's time to learn to do some more of the maintenance myself.

I kept my DD C5 for 12 years (147K miles) because of the cost-effective, quality work done at Frank's Vettes. Frank was always right on the money with whatever repair I needed to keep my Vette on the road.
I bought my C7 in 2015 and hadn't needed his services. Very sorry to hear of his passing.
The reason I am posting is that I need to replace an AC compressor on the C7 and found that Frank had passed, and the business is closed.
Can anyone suggest a quality shop that can replace an AC compressor without destroying the car or costing me an arm/leg?
I'm in the League City area - southeast of Houston.
Thanks for any help.

Kevin,
I ended up utilizing Corvette World in North Houston for the AC compressor replacement. Shop is ok but too far of a drive. I need to check out Gforce and some of the other shops mentioned in this thread for future repairs.
Thanks for the heads up. Are you in a club down here?
