Texas Mile - Spring 2022
Thinking about attending. Has anyone here run the "new" runway in Beeville? I heard one report that it was rough, but haven't gotten any confirmation. Runway condition?

They will run on the original runway in the spring. It had a bump at the 1/4 mark and a larger one at the finish line. I was still able to run 215mph in my Z06. Victoria was a much better track.

I registered today. They seem to have hopes of repaving:* NEEDS and WANTS:
We have been meeting with several pavement contractors, businesses and Chase leadership during the past few months. Based on what we have determined, we are extending opportunities to our fans, followers and participants to:
- Bid on runway work and additional site improvements we need done.
- Provide introduction to Chase Management to bid on runway and facility work for which they are budgeting.
- Sponsor Improvement Projects – these are custom sponsorships.
If you know of, work for, or own a Construction and Pavement Business and want to explore this opportunity, let us know. If you know of a business, are part of a business or know an individual that is interested in sponsoring improvement projects for The Texas Mile, let us know.
Please contact co-owner Shannon Matus at 281-802-9863 and email js@jsmatus.com and info@texasmile.net.

I will be attending as will my brother in his beautiful orange procharged C7. I have not put the new motor in as the stock motor still has life in it. Spins the tires up to 150mph with TC ON with new twin disc so this is gonna be interesting.

answers may vary but to me it was much better than the old one on the other side. There is a bump just before the 1/4 and one somewhere between the 3/4 and 1 mile mark. Neither was an issue for me and I went over 200 twice. If my vid will ever upload I’ll share it here. It’s like 4gb lol but I recorded several angles.
