I usually go to high plains raceway for 3 or 4 days in late sept with some great like minded corvette enthusiasts. This year looks like that event isn't going to happen. So I am looking to try something new. Is there a good track in the Dallas area that has HPDE type events?

Eagles Canyon isn't ready yet, they are still redoing the track and changing the layout.

Motorsport Ranch is awesome and adding a new short track. Looks like they may have HPDE 9/28-29 http://chintrackdays.com/

I'm wondering if LG's track will ever be done; every few months they post new layout pics but I never see anything final, unfortunately. Please feel free to correct me or add more detail.

Oh, I thought he was asking about September timeframe and tracks in general that do HPDE events near Dallas.

There are 3 HPDE events at ECR in September starting on the 2nd of September. (The new track looks awesome BTW)

Yes I agree that the LG track would be awesome, and really close to where I live.
The last time I was out there which was a month ago there was no progress being made outside of a sign up in the field saying "future home"... bummer.

NASA is doing an event this weekend. I'm currently at the track for test and tune.

The race groups are on the Roval and the DE group is on the infield.
