Looking for paint correction and ceramic coating in DFW
I am looking for a detail shop that can perform a complete paint correction and ceramic coating in DFW. Any referrals would be greatly appreciated. I live in Fort Worth, so East Dallas is probably too far for me. I would like to find one within a 30 minute drive. Also, I would like to keep my budget right at $1,000, is this realistic? Please let me know what coatings and shops everyone has had good experiences with. Thanks in advance!

Brian's custom detailing in Grand Prairie, This will most likely cost more than 1K as he uses Opti-Coat Pro Plus coatings and its not cheap.

Doc mobile auto detail, Caleb uses R1 coatings which is more reasonable cost wise but will probably run you right @ 1k for detail, correction and 2x coats on paint, glass & wheels.

Will do! I reached out to a detailer I've used once before. He is a certified Optimum installer. For a single stage polish and Opti-Coat Pro it is $899. I have a feeling I will need additional paint correction for additional $$$ though.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger in Dallas also. There's so many options, but it's tough to get much feedback on results.

Wash/clay: He uses ONR. Put a mitt soaked in ONR directly to dry paint washes the panel and then uses a clay towel to decontaminate and finally a microfiber towel to dry. This was my introduction to a rinseless wash and my OCD had a hard time watching someone rub all over the paint with so little water involved.
Polish: He uses Optimum hyper polish and the clarity came out great, but I could not tell that it made much of a difference as far as getting rid of any swirls or tiny scratches. Once again, this was only a 1 stage correction and he made no claim that it would get rid of all the scratches. I believe he charges for additional polishing based on the amount of time it takes.
Sealant: Optimum Hyper seal - here was the let down for me. The next time I washed the car, the paint did not bead or repel water. It looked as though it had nothing on it. I watched him apply the sealant, just didn't seem to do much if anything.
I do not think I would use him again for a detail job. Like I said my OCD and a rinseless wash don't get along. I am considering using him for the ceramic coat because he is the only local installer that is listed as certified on Optimum's sight. You really can't find a bad review on him, and I did enjoy working with him before. If I move forward, I plan on having the car prewashed. That way he is rinseless washing/claying an already clean car. Also any scratches will be remedied by the polish.
My only drawback is I do not see how any mobile detailer can perform a flawless polish in my dimly lit far from sterile garage. I would almost rather take the car to a brick and mortar, but I have not been able to find one to put faith into yet.
Please keep the referrals coming. Also if anyone has personal experience with Opti-Coat Pro, I would love to hear it.

Have used both. Harpers is more high end (for my zr1), he did multiple coats of IGL Kenzo ($$$) on mine, but I think he has some cheaper alternatives to meet your budget.
Doc does a good job as well (daily drivers). Both are mobile. If you prefer, you can drop it off at Harper's garage and leave it with him.

Wanting a flawless show quality paint correction alone can easily cost you 4 figures. If you are really as OCD as you're saying you may never find someone to make you happy no matter how good they are. Even 99.9% perfect is not 100% perfect.
