Tony,

I want to do the Cajun bar, but I also wanted to make a few 1/4 mile passes at Ennis. Is there a way to do both you think?

dadgumit, I wish we were gonna be at our lake place (about 3 blocks from the Cajun bar) this weekend to join you.....but, we're stuck in Midland to watch the big game on friday nite (Midland HS vs Permian)....hope the weather is betta this weekend than last...think the lake got 3-4 inches of rain! :yesnod:

I'm interested in the Friday nighter as well. I'm in Granbury only every blue moon - where's the Cajun joint? My crew never let's me make it past Montana's. Is it off 377?

jholmes....if you're heading west ,go past Montana's on 377,.... the "Cajun Cafe" is located at the intersection of 377 and 144 on the southwest corner. It is hard to see from 377.... as it is almost under the bridge and is actually floating on the lake. What time is everyone planning to be there?

Rain is a great instructional tool It teaches where you could be smoother. Also, with the great traction control these cars have it is still very fun.

I just saw this thread. I will be at MSR on Saturday, I think, but will be running my pesky little SM and trying to figure out how to drive a FM. Hopefully the weather will be clear, but I do like to drive in the wet and Brett will likely smoke everyone in the wet with Z06 #2.

FM = Formula Mazda, for more info go to http://www.starmazda.com

Since it is open wheel it runs in sessions separate from spoprts cars. Quite an adventure in rain!

How come I keep missing these? Going to be visiting friends in Mississippi that weekend... :( One of these days I need to get my car on the track and see what's really possible.

RAT,

Hate to do it but I'm going to cancel. It is a flood here in Houston and it is predicted to stay like this through the weekend.

Looks like the storms cover from here through WACO. And I don't want to drive the vette in the storms for 4 hours each way.

You should have decent weather up there but getting there wouldn't be much of a trip.

I guess I need an enclosed trailer.... Is Santa Claus listening :blueangel:

I'll catch up with you on a future trip to DFW

David

So is this a guys only thing, or is anyone bringing their wife/significant other? My wife wants to tag along but does not want to be the only female there.
