Default COTA Parade Lap for how much $

Has anyone else received an email from COTA? Email I received from Circuit of the Americas..........$50 for a parade lap. What are they thinking??

Greetings,
We are pleased to offer Corvette owners the unique opportunity to take part in a parade lap during the Lone Star Le Mans on Friday, September 19 @ 2:55 pm. This offer is open to the first 50 cars.

This is an amazing opportunity for those Corvette owners whom have purchased a car corral package during the Lone Star Le Mans. To be a part of this very limited opportunity please click the below link and make your purchase:
https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/cot...tails/14CORLAP

So click the above link and make your purchase before supplies run out. Remember only 50 spots available!

We look forward to seeing you and hopefully having your ride taka a lap around our world-renowned track.

NOTE: This option is only available for those that have purchased an Corvette car corral package and have a Corvette. If you do not you will not be allowed to take a lap around the track and your purchase will not be refunded.

They will easily find 50 owners willing to spend $50 for that. Just look at what some folks spend to put who knows what on their cars.

I debated getting the Corral package but I just didn't want to spend the extra $30 over normal parking for it. Although I haven't got my tickets yet and I may yet decide to do it if there are spots left in the "corral". But I wouldn't pay another $50 for parade lap, but that's me.

I too got that in the mail.

I did the coral the first year they had it. We got a parade lap included. It was about 3/4 of a lap at about 60 mph. Not worth $50 in my opinion.

It is not really that fun. Too slow. Many track days available at COTA now. Edge Adventures, Chin and Driver's Edge are all going there soon. Just do one of those. It'a a lot more than $50, but infinitely more fun.
