LT1 needs a basic rebuild and looking for recommendations. Block most likely needs to be punched out .030 and rebuilt to stockish specs. Going back into a boat and it's fast enough as is. Recommendations, ideas on what this will cost me and turnaround time? Thanks!

I heard that Glen's Machine Shop in Round Rock is the place to go. Although I am having work done at Xtreme Machine in Georgetown. Round rock is closer to you.

I was referred to Bishops in Georgetown, but will give the other two mentioned a call. I am less concerned with the driving distance, each of the places you mentioned are closer to me than South Austin Machine. Just looking for good experiences. Time for rebuild, quality of work and end cost are the main things I'm looking for. Trying to keep this rebuild under 2K as a lot of the parts will be reused.
