SO does anyone have any idea where some fellow Vette owners will be this Friday or Saturday night ??
And no, I don't mean hanging out at Biff's. That place has gotten OLD.

Anyone have any suggestions or places in mind ?

I Don't know where the hang outs are.

Like you said Biffs on Friday nights. Cars & Coffee the second Saturday of thee month.
There a gas station on hwy 151 and potranco where people take their cars on Saturday night.

Boerne has hot rod nights on Saturday nights at Soda Pops.

Other than that I your guess is as good as mine. I don't know if people go to Bun & Barrel or the Pig Stand anymore.

Nope.... heard and read it gets too crowded and the food isn't all that great....

Yep heard the food aint that great....but compared to what?? Ruth Chris or Mcdonalds lol The crowd I expect.... hoping to see and hear ideas on other mods owners have done to thier Corvettes. Pictures and tube video are only as good as the computer/speakers.

I'm still deciding whether to go or not. There's two events this weekend and I haven't found a way to be in two places at once.

The Texas Corvette Association (TCA) also has an event this Saturday, July 19th. It's at the Central Texas Speedway in Kyle, Tx. from 5pm to 9pm.

Their email said they are meeting at Biff's at 3pm and leaving shortly after. About 40 people are attending.

(I'll make a new thread for the TCA event).

Sorry just playing catch up as there were several ideas and threads going around for Austin/ San Antonio meets.

We could go out to Random in Boerne or swing by Stonewerks at the Rim. As long as we sit down and grab dinner or a drink we can hang out in the parking lot. I also like the idea of a Starbucks meet...There are several around town with decent parking that we can rotate between (to make it easier on owners from all sides of town to get together)and if a few of us by some coffee or drink we can stay all night in the parking lot.

We could also schedule a cruise through the hill country and grab some BBQ some weekend morning. Just throwing out ideas.

Lets meet somewhere this Friday that isn't Biff's and go from there.

All great ideas.... Let me know where and what time for Friday. I'll be in Corpus for a bay fishing trip with my office on Friday morning but will be back in SA by 7:00 or so.

This Saturday night is one of the hot rod nights at Soda Pops in Boerne.. been there once, it's a pretty good time, and it looks like its gotten bigger and bigger since it got started a little while back. Buckets of beer to walk around outside with, and some pretty good burgers.

And like they mentioned above, cars and coffee at the rim this Saturday morning... looks like an entire days worth of cruising and checking out some rides

Yep that's the one. The official cars and coffee group from California would not allow San Antonio to use their trademarked name...so the locals improvised.
