Yes I have. That brings up a question everyone could help me out with. If I change the LS1 manifold for a LS6 is there anything else I need/should do while I am at it. I know I need new gaskets for the manifold. What about the throttle body? Use the stock? Change it? Do anything to it? Do I need anything else? I want to be prepared.

At the same time I am doing the following before taking it to 21st for a tune:

Headers and xpipe, cat delete.
new plugs and wires

This is the same regimen Toque uses on his wheels.
I have Adams metal polish already, I need to get some 3000 grit and webril pads looks like. Do you know if anyone carries webril pads in store?

They might be found in an arts and crafts store, but the only place I've found to purchase them online is Amazon. Shipping is quick though; mine were at my doorstep two days after I ordered them.

Don't go to O'Reilly for the 3000 grit because they don't carry it. I get mine from Autozone.

Cool man.. it looks realy good for a quick test spot! Some 3000 grit followed by the CG polish should take out the rest of the small scratches

Did you use a lift when you did it or were you able to just use jack stands?
A lift would make working under the car super easy but it can be done without a lift. I installed my long-tubes using jack-stands in my garage. Definitely something we can knock out at a mod party

The quick reference guide refers to specific regulations... so you have to know what each regulation number stands for in order to use the quick ref.

Here's a link to the 45 page regulation index which you can refer to when referring to the quick reference guide : NHRA Regulations

Yeah, it's not all encompassing, but for cars that are 11.5 secs and slower it works pretty good. The rest you will have to look up. That link was one I just happened to have saved as my car is well within the "less than 11.5 secs" range. I'd hit high 12's if I had a really good day.

Alright guys.. Cars & Coffee is Saturday morning!

We will be at our weekly meet spot in the parking lot between Whiskey Cake and Abuelo's bright and early at 5:45am...

MEET HERE BETWEEN 5:45 - 6:10AM

We'll leave the spot to drive over to Cars & Coffee NO LATER THAN 6:15AM.

If you arrive at the spot after 6:15 and don't see anyone, go ahead and drive over to C&C at Classic BMW located on the Northeast Corner of Spring Creek and DNT... you'll see all of the Vettes to the right as you pull in.

See you there!

Pappy would but just finished dinner and set down and remembered tonight was going on, so did y'all go to Ennis or doing Coit? I might come up if Coit was the decision
