Yes I have. That brings up a question everyone could help me out with. If I change the LS1 manifold for a LS6 is there anything else I need/should do while I am at it. I know I need new gaskets for the manifold. What about the throttle body? Use the stock? Change it? Do anything to it? Do I need anything else? I want to be prepared.
At the same time I am doing the following before taking it to 21st for a tune:
Headers and xpipe, cat delete.
new plugs and wires

Switch to 3000 after you finish with the 2000; you'll get a much better finish. I would also very strongly suggest you get the Adams 2-part metal polish and a couple of bags of Webril towels, both carried by Amazon. From experience you will not get a better shine. This is the same regimen Toque uses on his wheels.

Don't go to O'Reilly for the 3000 grit because they don't carry it. I get mine from Autozone.

The quick reference guide refers to specific regulations... so you have to know what each regulation number stands for in order to use the quick ref.

Yeah, it's not all encompassing, but for cars that are 11.5 secs and slower it works pretty good. The rest you will have to look up. That link was one I just happened to have saved as my car is well within the "less than 11.5 secs" range. I'd hit high 12's if I had a really good day.
