Default Houston thread

Alright fellas, and ladies if there are any, lets make this our official Houston thread. To be used for any future Houston and surrounding area meets. With a list of people down to meet up all on one page, we should have better turnouts. In case of a meet, PM would be the way to go to notify everyone.

Unless the meet is by Clear Lake then no. I truly hate driving on Houston freeways unless I'm getting off work at 0500.

That's a point i was going to bring up as well. Most people just seem to meet up for meets or events around their location. It's very hard to get a big group from all sides of town to meet at one location.

Not saying it can't be done but many aren't up for it. There was a Houston area corvette thread in the sticky section. Not sure what happened to it...

Hi all! I am moving to Houston in around April. I have a good job opportunity at Ellington Field. any advice on good places to live around like clear lake or pearland? I am interested in cruises/ car meets once I get there if there are any.

Mark - Katy, but I am a fair weather friend...my car melts in the rain, or if it has been raining, we have a lot of new construction and the streets get all covered with mud from the trucks if it has been wet out.

I will do the Katy Sonic meet, always seems to fall apart though.
