Only waiting on printable form to enter. Can't come to C&C in the morning. My hood is still being held hostage by a artist!

Printed it, check in the mail tomorrow! Post up a link on the NCCO thread to rake in some more Vettes! If you don't I will. Also the Lone Star Classic thread. Gotta support Oklahoma Vette Events!

No track days, we like to do car shows, cruise, party and eat. Did I mention eat! Our friends with the Oklahoma City Corvette Club do plenty of track days.

The COCC supports many events and charities including the Toys for Tots All Corvette Show held, this year in Norman, OK at David Stanley Chevy of Norman. I support all Vette events in the region that I can.

If you want track events go to the Lone Star Corvette Club's Lone Star Corvette Classic at Texas Motor Speedway May 16, 17, 18 in Fort Worth, TX. They have several driving events during the weekend:

http://lonestarcorvetteclub.com/cont...item_id=286483

tons of Oklahoma vettes are attending this event and others,,,,

Enid, Ok has an indoor event that you better have a clean Vette to enter.

Sadly, Ponca City's Vette Show has been cancelled this year.

We should all support Vette events!

We have about 20 cars go to both Hot Springs for the Central Arkansas show, and also the Old Santa Fe Trail get together in Santa Fe NM.

Yeah I have heard too many negative things about brake rotor failure at the TMS roval due to the extreme hard braking and then fast cooling from the high speeds on track. I have read you will go thru a pair of front rotors in one event there so I have never been interested. I was wondering if a Corvette club hosts a day at Hallett or at the OK county sheriff's track. I used to be a track dawg and do 5-6 events a year but now don't have time/money with teenagers so have began shifting back to some car shows.

Just a clarification point on TMS, you are not allowed to drive the oval over about 85 MPH now. Even at a lower speed it is really fun to feel the G-force in the turns and experience the banking, I think you would enjoy it. A couple for years ago I did a 125 MPH lap which was most likely frowned on. The road course at TMS is very nice but can be hard on the brakes if you are aggressive but can be fun is you don't try to push the car real hard.

The Oklahoma City Corvette Club will do several track days a year at the Oklahoma County Sheriff's track and Hallet. The OKC club is mostly race oriented running timed events on various tracks around the region. I believe they have a website with all the information posted.
