I went last year. It was cool, but it was a small event.

Some do. MBB goes all the time; I will be hitting the 1/4 mile in Ennis for the first time as soon as my car is fixed.

How's your knee doing, any better?
Knee is better feels stronger but sometimes it does want to buckle if that makes sense.... thanks!

My thought was that we have a lot of good information in some of those threads that has be dug into after we close a thread.

Anyone think we should get a grass roots 1/2 mile or mile event setup for North Texas? With the amount of high end and awesome cars we have up here, it'd sure be fun!

ECR/MSR for curcuit... Dallas Raceway for 1/4 mile. I would go to Dallas Raceway this weekend but they are closed. Next weekend maybe.

Well I have had a slow leak on my right rear wheel for a few weeks now, I took my wheel up to Discount Tire at Custer & 121, he showed me a small crack in the crap repair that Wheels America did. Wheels America has repaired that same area 3 times. Needless to say I'm in the market for a 19in Fikse Profile 10. If anyone sees one on forum or else where, please let me know. I may go over to Rim Spec to see if they think they can repair once and for all, but I would rather just get a nice used one.

There a wheel repair place over in Carrollton, I believe the name is Wheel Tech. I no of another one over there also but can't remember the name.

Let us know when they come up then. They sure aren't advertised very well. The drags obviously can be found all the time, but the mile and 1/2 mile things I've only seen once here in a North Texas.

The one I've used is wheel repair solutions. They are in Carrolton, off of Frankford near I-35. Good guys, quick turn around, and priced reasonably.

I've only seen it once a year up here.

And the "invitation" is my point. An event open to anyone willing to enter, like the Texas Mile. The Texas mile is first come first serve. As soon as 300 are locked in, that's it.

I'm ready to go again BM. With the cool weather we should see some much better numbers than last time....and no 30mph head winds.
