ALMS @ COTA.......bring your poncho on Friday!!
Looks like 90% chance of rain (weather guys say it should be pretty heavy all day) on Friday. I've never attended a race (or any sporting event) in rain before so that will be a first. I bought my poncho last week in prep of high rain forecasts, looks like it was a smart choice. 
Looks like I'll wear sandals rather than shoes though since having soaked footwear for hours doesn't sound like much fun. Change of shoes/socks will stay in the car and a couple towels to dry off before the drive home.
But the forecast for Sunday will be PERFECT. High 80s, sunshine, light N wind, cool start of low 60s.....what a way to finish up the weekend!!
