Texas Road Trip Help...
I have a 7 day vacation from work next month, and I'm set on going on a road trip in my Z06. I haven't done a longish road trip in quite awhile, so I decided my destination would be to see my oldest friend who lives in Corpus Christi, TX. Anyways, I would like a little help on planning a loose itinerary for those of you who have done a similar trip, or who live in the TX area.
I'm going solo, and I'm all about 'winging' it, that's typically how 98% of my vacation trips go anyways. It's only a week, possibly squeeze in an extra 2 days if I'm able to. I live in Kansas City, and the route I'm probably going to take is KC to Galveston - Galveston to Corpus - Corpus back to KC (which includes going through San Antonio, Austin, Ft Worth/Dallas). For this trip I'm just focused on seeing the areas mentioned, although I appreciate your opinions of other places, I'll have to save those for another time lol. So, what do ya'll think and what are your opinions while I'm down there?
Also, I wasn't real sure where to post something like this on our forum, so if you have suggestions on that as well, by all means. Thanks in advance!
