Sorry I know this is a hot headed response, but I've bit my tongue on this and some other internal things for what I feel is far too long. It's just annoying at this point...and it rubs people the wrong way. I give zero f*cks about Corvette Forum's revenue stream, which is what they are really out to protect. I block the ads anyway.
That is why, you run your own business or you are retired, than you don't have these problems.

No, I use SonicWalls and Barracudas, I can pretty easily blanket block any and all message boards and forums. Toque, be careful, i log all attempts to bypass my security, I'm sure TI does too.

Its probably just falls into that category, depends on the manufacturer of the content filter. Prior to some recent updates mine would classify message boards in the adult category.

Yep, I can watch all HTTP traffic (really all traffic) in real time on mine; I start blocking sites when the traffic gets too high or time spent on the site gets high.
I can even kick people off during a session.

On a lighter note, I found someone to buy my old setup. Hoping to swap out the brakes next weekend. That's going to be fun......

Mike:

Lets open a thread on C2C2 and we can say what we want there about this specific subject.

Keep this post open so we can continue to meet new Corvette members.

I'm not worried about TI blocking me from C2C2. I have ways around that.

I'm not sure I fully understand why anyone would get upset about following simple rules of the CF. I have over 14,000 posts on here and have never had an issue with the rules.

Its not pictures, its text.
My filter looks at every website a user requests long before the user gets to see the content. All these devices work on keywords except for well known sites which are pre-black listed by the vender.

As far as the topic goes, if it didn't keep getting challenged/pushed, there wouldn't be any repeated discussion about it.
As far as nudie pics go, you can get those all day along anywhere so why do they need to be a central part in someones daily life? We're not 12yo and just discovered that you can see naked women (and men wearing tieras in the back of a 69 elco) on the internet.

We need to be respectful to all CF members around the world that are on this site, and "possibly" reading our GTG post.
Children have easy access here too.

So how did Wes, Mike and Mike get on that black list anyway??

Big Mike , I agree ,,don't waste time and stress , Smokin Vette . com is a much friendlier site for Corvette owner's of ALL kinds. Check out "Circus Nights", sweet

Kevin you are right,,no issues with nudity across the fish bowl

As for the IT boys on here that think you are "IT",,I haven't a clue what you are talking about I don't have any issues viewing anything on any site here at my company,,Oh Yea,,I'm my own company and show no prejudice!! I don't operate under a socialist regime. My company is a freedom of speech company, as I know , I have been told off a number of times Oh wait,,didn't mean to step on a toe or two, I must watch where I put my shoes even if it is where the sun doesn't shine

On the lighter side:

Matt, the Hawk has come along way since we picked up that day, it just keeps getting better

Mark, when you get those cup cakes ready be sure to bring to the next GTG for all of us to partake in,,,and none of those brownies you so often talk about, we have to drive home ya know, you party boy you

This post was for poking fun only, it's contributor denies all statements and was not made under any duress, someone else is typing on my computer and my password was stolen, all subjects were simply misstated or was undermined by a Mod or by the person typing this, all opinions are from similar like minded people and none of us really care, if you are not the intended recipient please do not disregard as this may have been meant and pointed directly at you, the opinions are maybe my own or may be manufactured by the person typing this, any issues can be brought to the attention of the owner of this lap top, (she isn't home) "she could care less", so please report all issues to 622-627-8257 (have to use a real phone to decipher the coded number) Surly you can figure out who's number this represents, at least those who know me

Thanks for the fun morning guy's

I am considering the purchase of a 2002 black Z06 that is for sale at a dealership in Lewisville, TX. I live in Missouri and it would be extremely hard for me to go see the car. This may be a stretch but I was wondering if anyone knew of someone that could do a private inspection for me or possibly go look at the car. Last thing I would want to do is drive down there and have the car be a complete lemon or ship it to my door and have it be a disaster. Can someone please help me with this? Any opinions/suggestions/or thoughts are much appreciated.

I am brand new to this forum and so far everyone has been great! This is my first corvette and I want to make sure I have a good experience. If anyone that has a Z06 in that area could just stop by and look at the car, listen to its engine, maybe test drive it, I would be extremely grateful!

Here is a link to the car. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...gIndex=6&Log=0

Thanks again!

Awesome! Yeah any help would be appreciated. If someone with an 02 Z06 could compare it to theirs that would be awesome. If all checks out, I will hire a private mechanical inspection (hopefully someone with Z06 knowledge) then potentially just ship the car to myself (flights are expensive around mother's day )

Thanks again!
