I'm in Alamogordo..would like to keep in touch about the group. We could have some great rides up around Cloudcroft and Ruidoso as well. I have a Y2k C5 Navy Blue Metallic vert, 6 speed, pretty much stock at this point but saving some pennies for some moderate mods.

Nice C7! The automatics are actually getting faster times than the 7 speeds, crazy.
Mine is on hibernation for the time being. Put it out on CL for a little bit to see if anybody wanted to buy it, but there are great deals out there on C5 Z06s. Not sure if I'm keeping it or upgrading to something newer, we'll see.

Hey all, I picked this one up on the 8th at the museum. That is my son in the pic, we drove her home and did the 1,500 miles in two and a half days. Pulled in the driveway Sunday afternoon.
The car is great, and surprisingly it was comfortable even on such a long trip. Kinda weird having so many people taking pictures and giving the thumbs up on the road. Just about have her all cleaned up from the trip, look forward to the first meet and greet.

New guy in the Las Cruces/ABQ area, just picked up a C5 Z06 from LA and drove it home. Looking for other guys around here, don't see many corvettes in las cruces

Lots of vettes up here in ALB. Several Vette clubs as well. We just had a large Corvette show yesterday at Reliable Chevy. Over 300 vettes attended. Your welcome up in ALB anytime!

Awesome! I actually am in ABQ half time, soon to be full time. My father lives there with an 07 Z51. Next time i am up there him and I will both have to go to an event.

Time to bring this back from the dead. The Z06 is gone and in it's place now sits a 2015 Stingray Z51. There will be a track day on Arroyo Seco on the 22nd if you want a ride-along.

I remember you saying you were thinking of selling the Z06.
My Z is paid off, I don't need another car note. But if I decide to get rid of it, it will be for a C6 Z06.
Which reminds me that I need to do the rear bearings soon, probably knock them out Thanksgiving weekend.
