Arizona Weekly Winter “Snow Bird” Cruise-Ins


Below is a list of WINTER (Snowbird) Cruise-Ins in Arizona. These take place each week, same time, same place October thru April.
(Be aware that some do not continue past April. Calendar will be updated in Spring for May – Sept months. If anyone would like to add a “confirmed” Cruise-In to this calendar please contact me via PM with complete details and I will add it.)

FRIDAYS

Metro Phoenix Area Friday

Gilbert Encore Plaza, 2065 E. Baseline Rd., Gilbert AZ (not weekly 2nd and 4th only)
2nd and 4th Friday from 5pm till 9pm. Classics, customs and muscle cars. Any year. There is a DJ playing records from the 50’s and 60’s and 70’s.

Gilbert Hobby Town corner of Gilbert & Baseline, Gilbert AZ – For large and events for kids racing HotWheels. 6 pm till ????.

Albertsons in eastern Mesa at 9243 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ Starts at 4pm. till ???? Raffles, food in same plaza.

Greenway Marketplace / Walmart Parking Lot in Surprise 15409 W. Greenway Rd., Surprise, AZ 6pm till ???. Greenway Marketplace in the Walmart neighborhood grocery store parking lot.

Glendale Chilly Bombers, 4917 West Bell Road, Glendale, AZ 5 pm till ??? Food, Rock and Roll music and Plaques

SATURDAY

Metro Phoenix Area Saturday

The Scottsdale Pavilions Center 9140 East Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale AZ is the premier cruise in. If you only go to one cruise in this is the one! “The Pavillions” as it is known is the oldest continuous Cruise In in the country (over 20 years) 4:30pm till ??? If you want to show your car get there by 3 pm. There will be a few hundred cars there. Note that the first Saturday of every month is Corvette night. All types of cars and motorcycles welcome but NO FOR SALE SIGNS ALLOWED. Music, DJ and food nearby (MacDonalds).

Before you go to “The Pavillions” you may want to hit the DC Ranch/West Addison Sports Grill Car Show and Cruise - 20751 N Pima Rd., Scottsdale, AZ between 11am till 3pm. Luncheon,geared to classic cars.

Mesa Riverview Center, Dobson & 202, Mesa, AZ from 5pm till 8:30pm. Raffles and awards. Food and live music.


Mesa Pavillions KMart (Do Not Confuse this with the Scottsdale Pavillions above), Power and Hampton Roads, Mesa, AZ. Put on by AZ Veteran Rodders. 4:30pm till ???. 50/50 drawing. NO FOR SALE SIGNS ALLOWED.


Peoria Panda Express at 83rd Avenue and 101, Peoria, AZ Just north of Union Hills.
5pm till ???



Other Areas outside of Metropolitan Phoenix Saturday

Tuscon Area

The Hot Rod Café in Tucson (not every Saturday only the 1st and 3rd Saturdays) located at 2831 N. Stone Ave., Tucson, AZ Breakfast and Lunch Cruise In 8:30am till 1:30pm.

Lake Havasu Area

The Wienerschnitzel Restaurant on 245 North Lake Havasu Ave., Lake Havasu, AZ Saturday Lunch Cruise In. 11:00am till 1:00pm


SUNDAY

Metro Phoenix Area Sunday

PHIL'S Filling Station Grill by the fountain in the center of town. 16852 E. Parkview Ave., Fountain Hills, AZ. "CRUZ'N@PHIL'S" has become a Sunday tradition for brunch/lunch, etc. 11 am till ???. Prize drawings. Parking is located behind the restaurant. Make sure you register upon arrival. Note: this is not so much a cruise in/show as a “drive and dine” event.

Other Areas outside of Metropolitan Phoenix Sunday

Tuscon Area

Tucson’s West Side Rides sponsors Santa Cruz Bowling Lanes “snowbird cruise in car show” ( it only takes place while the snowbirds are in town November thru April) 3665 South 16th Ave., Tucson, AZ from 12 noon till 4pm.

I checked it and also checked it on the internet. 4 different places confirmed it. It's on the corner of Stone and Glenn St. but the address is 2831 N. Stone which is what is posted.

Let me know if you know something different. I have been there before but never technically looked at the address,

The only one I know is on S. Houghton Rd., Tucson. Is this the one the original posting was thinking of? I'd like to know. I go to Hot Rods frequently on Houghton, but wasn't aware of the cruise-in. Let us know on this forum.

It has been checked and verified twice. The address ishow is correct.I have even been there.
The one I am referring to is a relatively new very large establishment. You should check it out.

The Hot Rod Cafe on Stone and Hotrods on Houghton are two totally different establishments

Not one corvette in sight however there was an informal car gathering taking place at the hot dog joint. Maybe the vettes went somewhere else.
