The Racing should be good. Roy did a great job of changing up the course this year. We sure would like to see some of the Forum members from Houston and Dallas who have never tried this to drop by to see what auto crossing is all about.

I know there are a lot of you out there that don't have anything to do this weekend, how about coming to a great autoX in Central Texas. We are having 7 low speed autocrosses on a fast track and there is always the great party afterwards.

thanks. This is my first one. We decided to make it a surprise, and not find out the gender early.

Hope you had fun at the event. As I was working a corner I thought you did really well for the first event. Are you coming to the meeting?

I drive the MY '00 that had Young Chevrolet Racing on the side.

Duntov - Didn't realize you were there. Looking at your sig i remember the car (plates read: Y Bother). Sorry i didn't get a chance to meet you and the other guys you were with, i was a cone worker in the middle of the track both days so i didn't get much of a chance to hang out on the side lines. Hope you can make it to next years AutoX (usually in early June like this one was).

TomLzzz - I remeber seeing a Black C5 Coupe with '97-'99 style wheels........and since Susan seen ya there i'm assuming that was you in the Black Coupe, right? Sorry for not getting a chance to meet you either (see above message as to why )..........but if you plan on attending the Club meeting this Wednesday then i'll just see ya there.

All in all i hope everyone had a great time and i look forward to seeing ya again next year........even if it is from a tent in the middle of the track. :yesnod:

Yea, that was me. I was floating around that weekend trying to stay hydrated. The job of a corner worker is usually one that keeps you away from everyone else. One the plus side, you had the best view.

I try to make your event every year, but last year something was going on that kept me away. There were two black C5 coupes there, one with chrome '97-99 wheels and one with the painted. I am guessing that TomLzzz was the one with the painted, as the one with the chrome wheels was with Longhorn.

What kind of power are you getting with the MTI stuff done. I heard you make a fun run on Sunday, and the car sure sounded good.

I was the one in the Black Coupe with the painted wheels. I had a great time and really appreciated the way everyone made me feel welcome and all the help and advice. This was the first time doing this event and I needed a lot of both. I'm planning on coming to the meeting on Wednesday and am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Yeah, i remember the other black coupe it had the '97-'99 chrome wheels but the plates read "00 vette"....i think. Anyway i figured it was 2000 model just running the old chromies for the AutoX. MTI's dyno showed 404rwhp and 385rwtq and Colvin's Dyno (in Austin) showed 396rwhp and 379rwtq........and that's before i added MTI's "Off-Road X-Pipe". And i'm guessing i got another 10-15 rwhp with the off-road x-pipe mod........cause there's a definite SOTP kick with a crisper throttle response. :yesnod:

On a side note, i think i met you about two years ago(Nov 26, 2000) at TAD(Temple-Academy Dragway). It was the day after Thanksgiving and the track had a few small patches of ice on it and on my 1st run i pretty much ended up sliding all over the track. And if i remember right it was either you or the other guy from Austin that hit a patch of ice at the end of the track and swiped the right front fender against the guard rail. I may be confusing you with someone else, afterall it's been 2 years and i got a bad memory. TTYL!
