2.) Brickhouse Plano - Good food, Large menu, Tons of beer options, Good parking, Plenty of options for us all to sit together, Patio we could view the cars. Not too busy. Not too far out of the way. Service last night was so-so... but I don't think we should rule this location out for what could have been a one time instance.

I'm thinking that next Sunday we should try Duke's Roadhouse - (NE corner of 75/Parker Rd)
http://www.dukesoriginalroadhouse.com/plano/index.html
Nice patio. Parking is a little weird though, but there is a large very well lit parking lot just beside the restaurant. Large menu. Park in front of K&G Fashion.

The following week I think we should try the the Fairview area (75/Stacy Road). There are plenty of options up there. Uncle Julio's, Logan's Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Rudy's BBQ, Brazilian Steakhouse, etc...etc...

As always I'm open to options... feel free to throw out suggestions.

I just got it out of the shop. Took longer to get it into the air then it did to fix it.

After we bent it with a crow bar.

I'm surprised you don't have any suspension or wheel damage.

I do have one back tire that has a dent in it. But not so bad that it needs to be fixed asap. It might be good to get an alignment. It's not pulling but still not sure. I took picks under neath all ok no major damage.

I am going to figure out that second gear burn when it is time to get new tires. Just gonna burn out and practice that.

Nothing to figure out, you had too much wheel spin going into 2nd and continuing thru 2nd; you were on the rev limiter the entire time. You didn't lift til the car was sideways and then it was too late, your momentum did the rest.

You're lucky there were no cops there and the ppl were further back.

Yeah that is what I posted earlier. Had way to much rpm. My 5.0 mustang you used to have to get on it pretty good to get the wheel spin up. So different. Didn't have time to sit there and burn out either with cars coming up on me. Decided to let it go. That it did.

Guys:

I don't think any of us were really impressed with Duke's Roadhouse last night. Service less than quick, music way too loud, We could barely talk to one another, and they would not turn down the music. Had to split tables with our group of 12 or so. Parking was ok though, and the food was decent.

Gary had a good idea for a spot next week. Its at the Allen Fairview center (South West Corner 190/Stacy Road). Its right across from the Allen Arena.

Dodie's Place Cajun Bar & Grill
190 E. Stacy Rd.
Ste 1320
Allen, Texas
Web Site---> http://www.dodiesallen.com/index.htm

The only thing I worry about is when there is a Hockey Game going on, or an event at the Arena. We may not be able to get in to eat there... The parking lot in the area is HUGE around the area though.

There are also a BUNCH of other restaurants in the area if this place is full. So we could still be in the same area.

What do you guys think ? Want to try it next Sunday GTG ?

Yes, I agree about Dookies.
FYI, That Dodies will be extremely busy as they always are on the weekends so plan accordingly, parking is good though.
They may not be as busy since they changed to Cajun though, also if its the same as the one in Frisco menu is limited; just an FYI.

Someone needs to pay more attention to the sign on the right hand side of this picture...

I tried to take a "panoramic" shot of Cars n Coffee. Did not turn out as well as I hoped, but you get the picture.

Click on the YELLOW line at the top of the picture to "expand" it.

I'm surprised it made the forum. I would have thought it broke the forum rules. I'm just glad one of us never posted it.
