Greetings from Austin, TX
Hi guys,
New Vette owner here in Austin. I am Texas born and have spent nearly my entire life in Austin and Round Rock.
Intro post is here

Look forward to talking Vettes with y'all as I have so much more to learn about this car. My mechanical knowledge is very limited.
If you're in central Texas please let me know!
Regards,
Julian

Congrats and welcome Julian! You do realize that you are not an "official" member until you post pics...
Keep and eye on this section as most local cruises get posted here. There is also a regular meet at 1431 & 183 (NE corner), every Saturday evening, that will have several Vettes there. Also, the 3rd Saturday of every month the Austin Sharks hold a lunch get together at Pluckers near the Lakeline Mall. All generations of Vettes show up.

Welcome Julian. One of the rules is that you have to post pics of your new ride.
BTW, we meet every Sat. night, weather permitting, in Cedar Park. Come and visit. You'll see some incredible cars, even though some are not 'vettes.

Hey George, looks like we posted at almost the same time.

Welcome and post some pics of your ride. We love pics.
If you are on Facebook you may also want to check out Sweet Rides. This is a closed group of car enthusiasts in the Central Texas area. If you want to be added to the group let me know and I'll make it happen.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I had no idea about the meetup in Cedar Park. I've been out of the car scene for a while. Here are a few pics I took of my ride with my cell soon after getting it. I plan on having a buddy who's a photographer take some better ones later this year. Looking forward to meeting up!

Hi, Julian and welcome to the forum. I don't make it out to the meets as much as I would like but still like to read what I am missing on here. As others have mentioned, this form is great for Corvette information, sharing ideas and asking questions. Don't be shy!
